Raising awareness of and appreciation for New England Industrial History

The industrial history of New England is not dead and gone.

Far from it.

Visible remnants of our vast and varied industrial heritage are scattered across the region, spreading from the shoreline, along rivers and deep into the interior. More than 100 museums and historic sites endure today interpreting objects, structures, and practices left in the wake of the Industrial Revolution.

We are a resource for anyone interested in the critical impact of New England industry upon the history and shaping of the United States. We seek to encourage industrial history education and to promote visitation of historic sites and museums throughout the region.
