NEMA Pre-Conference Tour

The NEMA Industrial History Museum Professional Affinity Group (PAG) and Industrial History New England are co-hosting a meet-up on Tuesday. Attendees will meet in the lobby of the Newport Island Harbor Hotel, at 4pm. From there, we will spend approximately one hour walking from Goat Island to the Newport wharf area and learning about Newport’s industrial history. Our guide will be IHNE’s own Richard Malley. Rich’s distinguished career as a researcher and curator for many historical organizations andexpertise in maritime and railroad history will help bring the past to life. Afterwards, we will gather at the Brick Alley Pub and Restaurant for food and drink.
