SNEC-SIA Tour Old Schwamb Mill

Hosted by the Southern New England Chapter (SNEC) Society for Industrial Archeology

Old Schwamb Mill is the oldest continuously operating mill in the United States. The tour will go behind the scenes to see a water turbine and steam boiler house, as well as a wood turning operation by which round and oval picture frames are made on an elliptical lathe.
